A wedding present that with it's macabre look suited the groom well. The apple in the picture is huge so the actual size of the item might be a bit confusing to comprehend. I forgot to take the measures but it's about 30 cm wide.
b. I'm glad it happens once in a while. But getting recognition is a tricky thing. I'd need to do a lot of advertising to get more viewers but I'd hate to bring myself up with "Check out my metal works!" etc. I might seem strange but there's some filthy selfishness in that.
c. I appreciate that people have the enthusiasm to take a look at my work and leave a comment. It's only polite to write a reply to show that I've given heed to them.
It's unbelieveable what This Guy ( Jaakko ) is able to make from iron, this is one of his first works after he started in school of metal artisan. It has been an honor to work with him at Turku Citytheatre Where He used to work as a stagehand and also couple of months with me in theatres metal workshop.
He's just Amazing, I've seen this work and some other in reality and his craftmanship and imagination always surprises me.
