Fruit Bowl by Rajala Fruit Bowl by Rajala
A wedding present that with it's macabre look suited the groom well. The apple in the picture is huge so the actual size of the item might be a bit confusing to comprehend. I forgot to take the measures but it's about 30 cm wide.

You have a unique style that I find inspirational. I think your metal work is very artistic and you photograph it perfectly.

dude, i am proud and happy to say,

a. i already watch you!!

b. you are finally getting SOME of the recognition your work deserves!

c. i think i have spoken with you in the summer concernign handcrafted goods and disposable society, you seemed like a gentlemen and i find i was correct. I cant believ eyou have answered everyone!

perhaps, without being a greedy capitalist pig, i sincerely hope you get some commissions out of this!

the world needs more handcrafted/recycled goods!!

a. I appreciate that!

b. I'm glad it happens once in a while. But getting recognition is a tricky thing. I'd need to do a lot of advertising to get more viewers but I'd hate to bring myself up with "Check out my metal works!" etc. I might seem strange but there's some filthy selfishness in that.

c. I appreciate that people have the enthusiasm to take a look at my work and leave a comment. It's only polite to write a reply to show that I've given heed to them.

It's unbelieveable what This Guy ( Jaakko ) is able to make from iron, this is one of his first works after he started in school of metal artisan.
It has been an honor to work with him at Turku Citytheatre Where He used to work as a stagehand and also couple of months with me in theatres metal workshop.

He's just Amazing, I've seen this work and some other in reality and his craftmanship and imagination always surprises me.

Eipä ole tullut. Muutama oli kiinnostunut, mutta jokainen hiljeni, kun kerroin, millaista hintaa joutuisin pyytämään. Ihmiset eivät vaan ymmärrä käsityön arvoa.

If it is a wedding present, it's rather symbolic. x3 Maybe I misinterpreted, but hey love it!

That is sick.
I mean that in the best possible way. A masterful piece, wonderfully executed.
I really like it, although I would like to see the room that can contain it without seeming gimmicky.
